This month we were asked to speak at the Startupathon 2015 event, at C4Di Beta in Hull
Startupathon is Business Enterprise Event, featuring the launch of Hull College’s Young Enterprise programme. We were asked to introduce ourselves, and tell our individual stories of business, and our collaboration in Creative Briefs.
We really enjoyed the full evening. The other guest speakers were really great and informative, and the student presentations of their work and their business ideas were the most inspiring part of the evening.
It was also a great chance to peek inside the C4Di Beta, as we’d heard a lot about this great project. C4DI is a Digital Hub, prviding services to start up businesses, and hot desk memberships. If we didn’t already have offices we’d be queuing up at the doors to use this space. The new building is well underway, and it looks set to change the shape of The Fruit Market in Hull, creating a digital quarter in the city.
Our presentation went well, with lots of great feedback from students, and from people working in the city. Rebecca has been asked to speak at the Young Enterprise Regional Finals later in the year too, which is fantastic and another opportunity to see young people’s creative thinking and business ideas.
Hopefully we’ll see you all there!
