Personal Arts Development
Here is what you have to do:

Unit 1 Part A - Extend Own Arts Practice
• Identify your main art form
• Choose a new art form that you want to try out
• Consider the skills you will develop in your new art form
• Plan a new piece of work which combines your main art form, and your new art form
• Share your work

Unit 1 Part B - Career Development Opportunities in the Arts
• Research into creative opportunities
• Take part in some volunteering, placements, training or workshops
• Reflect on how this is supporting your learning and development as a creative
• Get feedback from leaders in the creative industries about what you did in your volunteering / placement / training / workshops

Unit 1 Part C - Research Practitioners and Review Arts Events
• Research into any organisations in art or design and speak to people who work there.
• Review an arts event or experience that you have been to
• Reflect on how your research and experiences have influenced your own plans for your future

Unit 1 Part D - Form and Communicate a view on an Arts Issue
• A description of the arts issue you have chosen and why you chose it
• Research into a range of views about the issue
• Reflect on the research and how it has influenced your views
• A final argument about the issue
• Share your final argument with others
Book Moderation
When you’ve finished each part of your Arts Award, simply upload your completed work using the link at the bottom of each Unit part.
Once everything is completed and uploaded, complete the form below to arrange your moderation. This is the final step to celebrate all your hard work! Please note that moderation is a separate cost, and payment can be made directly to our bank details (we’ll share these with you when you book).
Remember Gold Arts Award has 2 Units. Don’t forget to also do the work in Unit 2 before completing this form
