Silver Arts Award - Unit 1
Arts Practice and Pathways
Here is what you have to do:

Unit 1 Part A - Plan an arts challenge
• Choose an artform that you enjoy
• Reflect on your strengths and weaknesses in that artform
• Set yourself a challenge in that artform
• Create an action plan of how you will implement the challenge you have set

Unit 1 Part B - Implement and Review the Arts Challenge
• Take part in everything in your action plan from Part A
• Show evidence of your progress as you work through your Arts Challenge
• Ask somebody else to review the work you have done in your Arts Challenge
• Review and reflect on your Arts Challenge

Unit 1 Part C - Review Arts Events
• Show us evidence of attending an arts event
• Create a review of the arts event
• Share your review with someone

Unit 1 Part D - Arts Research
• Meet people who work in art and design, and show us information about them, what you have learnt about their careers
• Research into art and design opportunities like careers, further education, apprenticeships or any other paths
• Summarise what you have learnt and if it has influenced you in anyway

Arts Leadership
Here is what you have to do:

Unit 2 Part A - Plan a leadership project
• Tell us what leadership skills you wish to develop
• Describe what you will do as an Arts Leadership project
• Tell us about your leadership role within your Arts Leadership Project

Unit 2 Part B - Plan the Practical Issues
Create a project plan for your Arts Leadership Project to show you are consdering things like
• Timescales
• How you will promote your project
• How you will recruit participants
• How you will deliver the project
• How you will collect feedbackAnd anything else relevant to your planning

Unit 2 Part C - Effective Arts Leadership
• Evidence of delivering your project
• Ongoing reflections of how you are developing and applying leadership skills

Unit 2 Part D - Working With Others
• Work with others and evidence this
• Show how you resolve any problems
• Collect feedback from others about your project and how your leadership skills are developing

Unit 2 Part E - Leadership Project Review
• Reflect on your leadership skills and how they have developed
• Reflect on how your project plan worked
• Tell us any achivements, successes and challenges of your project
• What you have learnt about working with others
• What you have learnt from the feedback you’ve received
