You’ve done all the planning and you’re nearly ready to start your Arts Leadership Project
Before you begin, it’s a good time to think about how your leadership skills are developing.
Think about all the work you’ve done so far to plan and organise your project.
Look back at the leadership skills you wanted to develop (Unit 2 Part A) and tell us:
Have there been any times so far where you have shown leadership?
Think about moments when you made decisions, or organised your time.
How do you think your leadership skills have been developing?
Have you started to feel more confident? Are you getting better at planning, talking to people, or staying organised?
Have you had to change or update your project plan at all?
If yes, what have you changed and why?
Did something unexpected happen?
Did you come up with a better idea along the way?
Now you’re ready to start your Arts Leadership Project!
Make sure you collect evidence of how you’re delivering the project as you go along (things like photos, or recordings)
Remember that you need to ask people to give you feedback! In Unit 2 Part B you planned how you were going to gather feedback from people.
When you’ve finished, do another review of how your leadership skills are developing
Tell us:
Were there any times in your project where you have shown leadership?
Think about all the things you did. Were there moments where you took charge, gave instructions, made decisions, or helped others feel confident?
How do you think your leadership skills have developed now that you’ve done everything you planned
Do you feel more confident leading?
Have you improved at planning, explaining things, or anything else?
Now that you’ve done your leadership project, how do you feel?
Are you proud? Excited? More confident? Do you feel ready to lead something again in the future?
Have you had any leadership opportunites that you weren’t expecting?
Did anything happen that you didn’t plan for, where you got to show leadership?
If yes, tell us what happened and how you handled it.
