Terms of Service (Arts Award Portal)

Last updated: 20 August 2025

1) Who We Are

This portal is provided by Creative Briefs (Not Pants CIC).
mail: hello@creativebriefs.co.uk
By registering, purchasing access, and using the Arts Award Portal and workshops, you agree to these Terms.

2) Eligibility & Parental Consent

  • The Arts Award Portal is designed for children aged 7 to 15, accessed with parental or guardian permission.

  • If your child registers, a parent or guardian must give consent.

  • Accounts may be closed and refunds issued if parental consent was not obtained.

3) Individual Licence & Family Use

  • Access is granted per child: one child = one account = one licence.

  • Each licence includes access to portal materials and a set number of monthly online workshops.

  • Licences are non-transferable and intended for one child’s use only.

4) Course Materials & Video Disclaimer

  • You will have access to downloadable guides, worksheets, and examples.

  • Some content includes embedded YouTube videos. We are not responsible for any "watch next" suggestions or third-party content surfaced by YouTube’s platform.

    Uploading Work
As part of completing the Arts Award, learners will need to upload their work to our Dropbox folder.

    • To upload, Dropbox requires you to enter the child’s name and an email address.

    • This information is used to identify and track submissions.

    • By purchasing this licence, you agree that your child’s name and an email address may be provided to Dropbox for the purpose of uploading their Arts Award work.

    • Creative Briefs reviews uploaded work but is not responsible for Dropbox’s platform, availability, or technical issues.

5) Monthly Online Workshops & Mandatory Q&A

  • Each child’s licence includes access to monthly interactive workshops

  • These ensure each child is completing the work individually and supports your Arts Award pathway.

  • Details will be provided after purchase; we welcome new learners at set times throughout the year, so each group can progress together at the same pace.

  • If we become aware that multiple children are using a single licence, we may cancel access or issue refunds.

6) Payments

  • Payment is secure and managed via Squarespace Commerce and associated payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal).

  • No payment card information is stored on our system.

7) Refunds & Cancellations

  • This is a digital subscription with immediate access, so refunds are only offered when required by law or where justified (technical faults, misrepresentation).

  • Contact us at hello@creativebriefs.co.uk if you're having issues.

8) Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Share your login with others or allow multiple children to use the same account.

  • Misuse platform features or engage in disruptive behaviour during live sessions.

  • Copy, distribute, or reuse materials beyond personal use.

We may suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms without refund.

9) Availability

We aim to keep the portal and workshops available at all times, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance or external hosting issues.

10) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by England and Wales law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
