FAQs

Some children may decide not to finish their portfolios, so we charge moderation separately to make sure you’re not paying for this before your child is ready. It also helps us ensure each child’s work is complete and fully prepared before it is moderated.
Fees for moderation and certificates are set by Trinity College and may change over time, so charging separately means we can make sure the fee is accurate at the time your child is ready.
Moderation fees will be paid directly to our bank account — full details will be supplied when you are ready to book moderation.
-
Every child is different. Some children finish in a few months, while others may take a year or longer. Our portal is designed to be flexible so your child can work at their own pace.
-
You can stop using the portal at any time. However, fees already paid for portal access are non-refundable, as they cover access to resources and sessions already available.
-
These are friendly, informal online meet-ups where children can share what they’ve been working on, ask general questions, and take part in extra creative activities. You’ll be put into breakout rooms which are dedicated to each Arts Award level. Sessions are designed to be fun, social, and help keep everyone motivated.
Due to the number of participants, we aren’t able to offer tailored 1-to-1 advice during these sessions - they’re more about community and encouragement than individual portfolio feedback.

We recommend that children complete Bronze with us before expressing interest in Silver or Gold levels.

Silver and Gold Arts Awards are much higher-level qualifications, and they require more independence, commitment, an ability to lead and communicate, and depth of work.
We do offer a dedicated portal for these levels, which can be accessed with separate fees. Portal access for Silver and Gold also includes attendance to monthly online sessions, with dedicated breakout rooms so that we can give focus to the unit requirements at these higher levels.
If your child is interested in Silver or Gold, please contact us to arrange a free video call with you and your child. We’ll talk through what each level involves, look over any current portfolio work and talk through the requirements. This helps us decide together whether we feel your child is ready to meet the requirements.
