Welcome to our
Arts Award Silver Portal
Access resources and examples to help you complete Arts Award
What’s on the portal?
This portal for each unit will give you access to:
Templates to help you plan and reflect (PowerPoints, Worksheets, etc.)
Examples from other young people to inspire you
Guidance to help you stay on track
Whether you're working at home, in school, or with a tutor – you’re in charge of your journey. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Work at your own pace
Children get access to a rich library of worksheets, PowerPoints, videos, and inspiring examples from other young people. These resources break each stage down clearly, helping children build skills and confidence as they go.
Accessible Resources
Our resources include practical ideas and alternative approaches to help children with Specific Educational Needs succeed. We provide guidance on different ways to record, present, and share work, making the Arts Award truly accessible for every child.
Attend Our Saturday Sessions
Portal access also includes a set number of online sessions, held on the first Saturday of every month from 10am to 12 noon. These friendly, interactive sessions allow children to connect, share their work, and get feedback and encouragement from our team and peers.
Silver Arts Award is split into two units – and we’ve designed two separate portals to support this.
You can buy access to each unit separately.
Each purchase includes access to the full online portal and monthly Zoom sessions with our trained advisers and teen ambassadors.
If you decide that Silver isn’t the right fit after completing Unit 1, there’s no pressure to continue to Unit 2 – but if you do want to carry on, the next step is already ready and waiting.
Get exclusive access to our portal for Silver Unit 1, with examples and tips to complete each section.
Silver Unit 1: Set yourself an arts challenge, plan how you’ll complete your challenge and track your progress, share what you’ve learnt with others, and research arts careers and opportunities in arts and design
Get exclusive access to our portal for Silver Unit 2, with examples and tips to complete each section.
Silver Unit 2: Plan and lead your own arts project, get others involved, and reflect on what you learnt about how to be a leader.
Book Moderation
When you’ve finished the work for each part of Silver Arts Award, simply upload your completed work using the link at the bottom of each page on the portal. You should upload your work as you go along, rather than sending it all to us when you’ve finished. This allows our team to keep you on track and to offer any guidance needed.
Once everything is completed and uploaded for BOTH UNITS, complete the form below to arrange your moderation. This is the final step to celebrate all your hard work!
Please note that Silver moderation is a separate cost of £97.50, and payment can be made directly to our bank details (we’ll share these with you when you book).
Remember Silver Arts Award has 2 Units. Don’t forget to do the work in both units before completing this form.
Let’s Chat First
Before enrolling, we’ll arrange a short chat with you and your child to look over any current portfolio work and talk through the requirements. This helps us make sure they’re ready for the challenge and have the best chance of success.
Silver Arts Award is a much higher-level qualification, and requires more independence, commitment, an ability to lead and communicate, and depth of work.
Portal access for Silver also includes attendance to monthly online sessions, with dedicated breakout rooms so that we can give focus to the unit requirements at these higher levels.
If your child is interested in Silver Arts Award please contact us to arrange a free video call with you and your child. We’ll talk through what each level involves and help decide together whether we feel your child is ready to meet the requirements.
FAQs
-
Some children may decide not to finish their portfolios, so we charge moderation separately to make sure you’re not paying for this before your child is ready. It also helps us ensure each child’s work is complete and fully prepared before it is moderated.
Fees for moderation and certificates are set by Trinity College and may change over time, so charging separately means we can make sure the fee is accurate at the time your child is ready.
Moderation fees will be paid directly to our bank account — full details will be supplied when you are ready to book moderation.
-
Every child is different. Some children finish in a few months, while others may take a year or longer. Our portal is designed to be flexible so your child can work at their own pace.
-
You can stop using the portal at any time. However, fees already paid for portal access are non-refundable, as they cover access to resources and sessions already available.
-
These are friendly, informal online meet-ups where children can share what they’ve been working on, ask general questions, and take part in extra creative activities. You’ll be put into breakout rooms which are dedicated to each Arts Award level. Sessions are designed to be fun, social, and help keep everyone motivated.
Due to the number of participants, we aren’t able to offer tailored 1-to-1 advice during these sessions - they’re more about community and encouragement than individual portfolio feedback.
