Welcome to Bronze Arts Award!

Bronze is an exciting next step if you enjoy being creative and want to develop your skills even more. You’ll get to take part in arts activities, learn about artists, share your opinions, create your own work, and even teach a skill to someone else.

To participate in Bronze Arts Award, you need to be aged 11+

  • Templates to help you plan and reflect (PowerPoints, worksheets, etc.)

  • Examples from other young people to inspire you

  • Guidance to help you stay on track

Whether you're working at home, in school, or with a tutor – you’re in charge of your journey. We can’t wait to see what you create!

Bronze Arts Award has 4 parts.

Here is what you have to do:

  • Colorful abstract painting with concentric rectangles in red, pink, purple, blue, yellow, green, black, and gray.

    Part A - Explore the Arts As A Participant

    • Participate in any artform

    • Describe the art form you are taking part in

    • Evidence taking part in the artform

    • Tell us what you have learnt and how your interests, knowledge and skills have developed

  • Part B - Explore the Arts As An Audience Member

    • Attend at least one arts event and show evidence of attending.

    • A personal reflection of the event showing what you thought and how it impacted you.

    • Share your personal reflection with someone

  • Art installation featuring hanging fabric pillows and plush art pieces in a brick-walled gallery. The pillows are decorated with colorful patterns, hearts, and abstract designs, and are suspended from wires.     Part C - Arts Inspiration

    • Research into the work of an artist, craftsperson or creative practitioner.

    • Create a summary in any format so that other people can learn about the work, career, and life of the person you have chosen to research.

  • Part D - Art skills share - passing on arts skills to others

    • Share an art or design skill with somebody else.

    • Show us any plans you’ve made of how you will do your skills share

    • Show us photographs or any other evidence of you delivering your skill share

    • Reflect on how well you have passed on your art skills

When you’ve finished each part of your Arts Award, simply upload your completed work using the link at the bottom of each Part A, B, C, and D.

Once everything is completed and uploaded, complete the form below to arrange your moderation. This is the final step to celebrate all your hard work!
