Dyslexia Awareness Resources
This is a page of resources on the topic of dyslexia which we’ve made available for schools, educators and young people to use.
Amongst other things, these resources explore how dyslexia impacts upon emotions, education, employability, and entrepreneurship through a series of podcasts, video interviews and discussions.
Videos
We discovered this resource through the Dyslexia Scotland Toolkit.
This is a presentation that ‘Miles Poulton’ produced for his school for Dyslexia Awareness Week 2019. “I did it because I'm dyslexic and I wanted all the other kids in the school to know that while being dyslexic can be a bit rubbish, it can also be pretty awesome too.”
Podcasts
Founder of Hull Dyslexia Assessments invited our director, Jason Bowers – a fully qualified teacher and professional designer to talk about his dyslexia and setting up Creative Briefs. Find out more about the podcast here and click below to listen.
